Every year, the Lions of Indiana help the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired via a Spring and Fall Work Day. This year, the Spring Work Day will be held May 31 at the ISBVI.

Activities will focus on campus beautification and improvement. The morning session will focus on outside jobs, while the afternoon session will be inside where it is cooler.

The schedule for Saturday, May 31 will be:

  • 9:00 AM: Registration and donuts
  • 10:00 AM-Noon: Morning Session
  • Noon-1:00 PM: Lunch provided
  • 1:00-3:30 PM: Afternoon Session

The Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be holding it's annual Spring Plant Sale from April 28 - May 10, Monday to Friday, Noon to 5:00PM and Saturday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM. The plants are grown on-site at the School by students and faculty. The proceeds go to support the horticulture program at the school.

Plants for sale include Annuals, Perennials, Tomatoes, Heirlooms, Hybrids, Herbs, Peppers, Hanging Baskets and Planters. Please take this opportunity to support the School while beautifying your home.

The school is located at 7725 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
